Susan Tobin

Welcome to Susan Tobin Watercolors. On this site you will be able to purchase original paintings and giclees. A giclee is an image that is generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks. This process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. It is also a very affordable way to own a painting. You may order a giclee from a 5 x 7 to a 20 x 27 inch size. They would be suitable for your home or office when double matted and framed. Remember to never put an original watercolor or a giclee in the direct sun. They will fade over time if you do. If you have questions, please go to the contact part of my site and I will promptly respond.

Susan Tobin is well known for her fresh, realistic and traditional watercolors. This is reflected in her paintings of New York City scenes, her garden and floral themes and beaches of Cape Cod, New Jersey and Florida. The lighthouses of Maine, Cape Cod and New Jersey, as well as the rustic snow scenes of Vermont, New Jersey and Utah, continue to inspire her love of painting.

A resident of Osterville, MA and Longboat Key, FL, the artist is originally from San Antonio, Texas. She has painted for well over thirty years and continues to meet and work with renowned artists throughout the United States and France.

The artist has been influenced by studying with Edwin Havas, William Senior, Denise Collins at the duCret School of Art in New Jersey as well as the New Jersey School of Visual Art. Before moving to Osterville, she was active in the Essex Watercolor Society, the Millburn-Short Hills Art Association and the Morris County Art Association. On Cape Cod, she is a member of the Cape Cod Art Association. She has continued her advancement with workshops in France, Cape Cod and the Hudson Valley of New York.

Over the years, her paintings have been sold to many individuals through various galleries.
